Viewing the partially-assembled computer, we're looking at the empty
Pentium 4 socket and heat-sink bracket. Notice there's no shortage
of fans around the CPU area. I've already installed the 2 DIMMs
containing 1GB of 333MHz DDR RAM, aka PC2700. It's just easier
for me to install it before the huge CPU heatsink is in the way.
For the really curious, that aluminum heatsink to the left of the CPU
socket is the 845 'North-Bridge' - it generates a fair bit of heat
since it runs a bus speed of 533MHz. Those yellow toroids near
the CPU socket are the core elements of the CPU's personal power
supplies.
